Engineering Career Services Visualization
2021-2022 Illini Success Survey results are available as visualizations on the Engineering Career Services website to share the salaries, jobs, and post-graduation futures of our recent graduates. This page on ECS is ranked #3 in most visited Grainger College websites. There is certainly interest in how our graduates leverage their degrees!
The Salary and Hiring Data Portal allows a page visitor to see the success of various types of graduates, based upon their department affiliation. This information is relevant for recruiting students focused upon future career opportunities, current students currently looking to secure post-graduation work, and for our industry partners looking to hire our graduates.
DMI Customer Reports
In the past few months, our Data Analytics team worked with Philippe Geubelle, Jonathan Makela, and Daniel Bodony to develop a custom reporting solution from Division of Management Information (DMI) data. By choosing line items from DMI, we helped them filter DMI data and export to Excel to create a custom report.
CBTF Visualizations
The team also worked with Jim Sosnowski to provide historical enrollment numbers and grade distributions for all courses that utilized the Computer-Based Testing Facility (CBTF) since 2015. In the future, we aim to provide historical enrollment information on courses that have never used the CBTF to allow for improved resource management and growth planning of this service across campus.
