Help Desks are closed during University Holidays and have reduced coverage during Academic Breaks.
When Class is in Session:
- Walk-In locations
- 2302 Siebel Center for Computer Science
9 a.m. - 5 p.m. - Weekdays, Monday through Friday. - 1005 Mechanical Engineering Laboratory (MEL)
9 a.m. - 12 p.m., 1- 5 p.m. - Weekdays, Monday through Friday.

- Phone calls will be answered Monday-Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Emails will be responded to within one business day. Emails are watched the same schedule as the phones.
- Engineering IT Help Desks are closed on University holidays.
When Class is Not in Session (for example, Winter Break, Fall Break, Summer):
- Engineering IT Help Desk at Siebel Center for Computer Science walk-in support hours are, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Other Engineering IT Help Desk locations are open with reduced staffing levels and signs will be posted about hours.
- Calls to the Engineering IT Help Desk phone will be answered 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Emails to engrit-help@illinois.edu will receive a response within one business day.
- Engineering IT Help Desks are closed on University holidays.
