Shortly after posting the notice of the Engineering Workstation Home Directories being unavailble the issue was resolved.  Home directories in both linux and windows should work as expected.  If you are continuing to have issues please let us know by sending an email to engrit-help [at] illinois.edu.

The EWS home directory service is currently down.  Users may experience extremely long log in times on both windows and linux systems.  Once logged in the users files will not be available.  The engineering IT infrastructure team is currently looking into the issue.  Updates to the condition will be posted as we have them.
