What: Potential interruption in Echo360 lecture capture, availability of online lecture videos and live streaming services
Services Affected: Lecture Capture, Lecture Playback at http://recordings.engineering.illinois.edu, and live streaming from the College of Engineering and College of Veterinary Medicine

Estimated time of resolution: Saturday, 2015-09-26 7:30 a.m.
Root cause: A network port change will be made to the storage arrays providing these services
Details: On Saturday, September 26th at 7:00 am, Engineering IT and Tech Services Networking group will enable flow control on the network switch for storage arrays used for lecture capture, lecture video playback, and live streaming. Although no interruption in service is anticipated, the potential for interruption exists, which is why this will be done during a maintenance timeframe.
