EWS Linux software updates for Spring 2013

The following software has been updated on EWS Linux workstations (and remote access servers) for Spring 2013. This software has become the default version from the menus and command line.

• Mentor Graphics - HDL Designer 2012.1
• Mentor Graphics - ModelSim SE 10.1d
• Mentor Graphics - Precision Synthesis PS2012b
• Cadence - Encounter Digital Implementation System 11.1 (EDI110)
• Cadence - Virtuoso IC6.1.5 (IC615)
• Cadence - MMSIM 11.1
• OCaml 4.00.1

The Intel compiler and parallel tools have been upgraded and their paths changed. All Intel software is now available at /opt/intel on EWS Linux systems.

• Intel - Parallel Studio XE 2013u1 (Inspector, Advisor, Composer, VTune)

The following software has been installed, but is not the default version (previous versions may still exist, but these newer alternatives are available).

• Apache Ant 1.8.4
• Android SDK r21.0.1
• Android NDK r8d
