EVA5000 retirement

Saturday, Oct 13th: Due to technical problems, DCSFILES could not be completely migrated within the maintenance window.  Engineering IT staff will continue working on the issue and will reschedule the move as soon as possible.

Original Announcement: On Saturday, October 13th, Engineering IT staff will move the following servers currently on the HP EVA5000 in order to retire some of our older server hardware:

  • dcs-webapps
  • dcs-webmaint
  • DCSFILES

These moves will take place during our Major Maintenance Window, 8am-noon, during which time users may be unable to access their files on these servers for an hour or more.
