Completed: Major Maintenance of MRL and Siebel Data Centers on 3/19/2016

The major upgrades to servers in the MRL and Siebel Data Centers have been successfully completed and impacted services were operational by 11:20 a.m. this morning.

On Saturday, 3/19/2016, from 6:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Engineering IT Infrastructure team will be performing major upgrades to servers in the MRL and Siebel Data Centers. During this period, multiple services and applications will be unavailable. These include research storage and applications, administrative file shares, business and accounting applications, and some instructional services (e.g., byteshelf).

In the event that the maintenance cannot be completed during this time frame, the Infrastructure team will resume the work on Sunday, 3/20/2016, from 6:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
